Question by @llyran-noble: What should be done about the progression of innovation, and what should be done for the people that are displaced along the way?

In terms of what should be done about the progression of innovation, I do not believe that we as humans should shy away from, or try to hinder the advancement of technology or fear the outcomes. Technology has always acted as a tool for humans to make life easier, cheaper, and better. We should embrace these changes that are upon the horizon, and look forward to the changes that will be made to society. Personally, I believe that Hollywood and popular belief has put red flags on the idea of advanced technology in everyday life, and that these beliefs are false and unsupported by facts. To best prepare for this technological revolution, education is most important in order to best understand and embrace possible changes. In terms of people who are being displaces by robotics in the work place, skilled labor is still relatively safe in terms of being taken over by advanced robotics, as well as skilled labor being an increasingly rare position with most jobs paying more than they have in years. These advancements in technology are not in order to destroy the opportunities for people, but to make life easier and more streamline. I also think people fail to realize the number of jobs that this technological revolution will create, another preparation that should be made in order to thrive in a world with abundant robotics and advanced technology.
