While the idea seems like it would help many people be ready for a health emergency, I have to disagree with making healthcare savings mandatory. Many people who struggle with paying hospital bills are the same people who already struggle with paying their bills month to month. Requiring those same people to put their money into a savings account would harm their ability to make it. A reform in health insurance availability would make more sense, as long as it is handled better than Obamacare.
